Fractures are what happens to a bone,
Shattered is what happens to glass,
Destruction is what takes place in a natural disaster.
But what is this that has happened to me?
What is going on in my heart?
What has taken place in my life?
Are there a words?
Is there an expression?
How can I begin to grasp what is going on?
The pain inside is beginning to eat me alive.
Devastation has absorbed all of my air.
I can't endure it,
I'm breaking into pieces,
Deteriorating into oblivion.
All I can do,
Is close my eyes,
And step out onto the water with You.
